Link Marketing Campaigns

Link Popularity Campaigns

What is a link? To super-simplify, when a word (or an image) on a web page links to another web page, it is called a "link." When something is a "link," it means that when you click on the link, the web page it links to, appears.

Look at the next paragraph. Where the words blue and underlined - that is a link.

(Ex: Elder Law Attorney - Asheville NC: Wendy A. Craig is a North Carolina elder law attorney specializing in retirement planning, estate planning, living trusts, financial planning, and asset management, protection and recovery.)

Why are links important? When search engines evaluate your web site, among other things they analyze the following details regarding links:

  • The number of web sites which link to your site.
  • The popularity of the web sites which link to your site.
  • How closely those web sites' themes match your web site's theme.

Of course, the higher the better for all three of these qualifiers.

Why do we perform strategic link analysis? Our analysis determines the parameters for an optimal Link Campaign, and helps us put together a plan for a highly successful Link Campaign. We will do the necessary research, correspondence, content writing, and more, to get your site linked-to from other valuable web sites in the same industry as yours. This will increase your traffic in two ways:

  1. You'll achieve higher rankings in the search engines.
  2. You'll receive visitors from the other web sites which link to yours.

Why are link marketing campaigns important? Because search engines are putting an increasingly higher value on inbound links. (Inbound links are links on other sites which link to your site.) Search engines give higher rankings to web sites which have greater numbers of quality/relevant inbound links.

To say that the more sites that link to yours, the better, is not necessarily true. A number of considerations must be met; among them, the theme of the site with the inbound link, the web page's popularity, the web page's authority. For example, if you would like to include local link marketing in your marketing portfolio because you want to gain local clientele, we can make those arrangements for you. We can also place the focus more on the US, or North America, and of course globally as well.

A link popularity campaign can be an important step in our overall approach to bring you success in the search engine venues!

Bottom Line: If after the research/consulting work we provide for your search engine marketing campaign, we determine that a link popularity campaign is needed, we will present this option to you and allow you to decide.
